1. Cognitive Linguistics Insights into the Nature of the Igbo Verb

The work, The Igbo Verb and Cognitive Linguistics was the first major work to look at the Igbo verb from the Cognitive Linguistics perspective. The work has led to many other works in Igbo language studies.

However, this major work itself is seriously in need of an overhaul in the light of the developments within the Cognitive Linguistics Framework.
